Launch of new ornamental pineapple hybrids by EMBRAPA

From October 17 to 21, 2016 the Brazilian Congress of Fruitculture took place in São Luiz do Maranhão. At this event EMBRAPA launched two new species of ornamental pineapple: the BRS Anauê and the BRS Boyra. Both species were part of an agreement with ABX Tropical Flowers, where EMBRAPA provided the species to be acclimated and evaluated under field conditions at ABX’s farm.
